New rules for international trade

Since January 2011 will become effective the eighth edition of "Inconterms" which are a set of international rules for external trade activities. Moises Luque, executive director of the National Ecuadorian Chamber of Commerce, explained that these rules define the responsibilities and obligations of buyers and sellers.

Among the issues addressed in "Inconterms" are the risks in moving freight, operating costs and other issues involving logistics operators. Ecuador is the second Latin American country where they have the "Inconterms."
